The initial concepts

The Gymea Bay duplex was designed as a modern dual-occupancy build, requiring careful staging to ensure the structure was delivered efficiently and to a high standard. Our scope was to complete the slab, framing, roofing, and windows, then hand the project over to the client’s internal team for finishing.

The build process

• Completed slab works for both dwellings
• Installed all structural steel and ground floor framework
• Constructed first floor joists, beams, and sheeting
• Built the upper floor and roof framing
• Installed roofing and windows to fully enclose the build
• Handover to client’s carpenters for interior and finishing works

The outcome

We delivered two solid, weather-tight duplex structures ready for the client’s team to take over. By handling the key structural elements from slab to lock-up, we ensured the project was delivered on time, built to spec, and set up for a smooth internal fit-out.
